About
Agreeable (formerly CODR) has taken the traditional legal model of hourly rates, unknown expenses and long visits to a law office and flipped it on its head.
In New Zealand, the Property “Relationships” Act 1976 allows couples to “contract out” of the act and define how their assets will be separated if they were to separate (or have separated). Agreeable aims to make the “contracting out” process easy. With Agreeable, you can get a relationship property or separation agreement completed entirely online. We provide a DIY agreement. We provide a fixed-fee quote for two independent lawyers to provide advice and certify your agreement. We provide an online signing platform. In essence, we have stripped away all the niggle and made the process of getting a relationship property or separation agreement easy.

Agreeable (formerly CODR) was established by Michael Heron QC, former Solicitor-General of New Zealand. Michael has unique experience in litigation and has more recently led the digital transformation of the Crown Law Office in New Zealand.
“The current court process is complex, lengthy and very expensive,” says Mike. “Agreeable provides access to expert justice in a way which is driven by you and your needs.”
